El interior de la Pirámide Roja es complicado al principio, pero merece la pena más que las Pirámides de Keops, Kefrén o Micerinos.

We got a taxi to take us about for the day. $30 each we spent over 7 hours and included this towards the end.

The pyramids are quiet- there was absolutely no one else there. We actually got to go inside the pyramids by ourselves

Taking the subway to Heliopolis, or any suburds- you'll truly be stared at and you'll feel like a superstar!

Coptic Cairo, it's a clean and quiet labyrinth where (For Christian believers) Jesus Christ was said to be staying when he was living in Egypt.

Just strolling around Talaat Harb (A good location) at 1 in the morning!  like a carnival
Just relax at the Restaurant Bon Appetite by the American University, it's a relaxing place with cheap (8 LE for chicken Parmigian) and good international food and just interact with the people

Notes

About Egypt
Home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World and origin of the River Nile, Egypt is also home of one of the world’s oldest and most famous civilizations, which can be dated back as far as 4,000 years ago.

As its history dates back so long ago, it is usually divided into thirty dynasties. The most significant of these is the third dynasty which was when ‘sun worship’ first became a widely practiced religion, particularly among the upper class. But it was the kings of the fourth dynasty who built the famous pyramids.

Probably the most famous of all figures in the ancient Egyptian civilization was not actually a leader herself, but the daughter of one. As the Roman civilization began to overshadow the Egyptians, Cleopatra, daughter of Ptolemy XI, sought help in Julius Caesar and Marc Anthony and tried to regain her country’s power which it had lost to the Romans.

Tombs and pyramids  The first tombs of the pharaohs were large, unimpressive, bunker affairs called mastabas. They were made from sun dried mud brick and most have long since crumbled to dust. This all changed around 2630 BC with the erection of the step pyramid. It was made for the pharaoh, Djoser and began as a normal mastaba, but was subsequently enlarged by adding one mastaba on top of another until it consisted of six terraces some 200ft (60 meters) high. The surface was originally encased in smooth white limestone which must have caught the sun light and reflected its rays.

Across the Great Court of the Pyramid Complex of Djoser (Zoser) (2667 - 2648 BC), the second king of the 3rd Dynasty, stands the Step Pyramid. It is believed to have been created by one man, Imhotep. He has been called Doctor, Sage, Architect, Astronomer and High Priest. The Greeks worshipped Imhotep as Aesclepius, the God of Healing. Imhotep is also credited as a founder of the Egyptian, and Masonic, mystery traditions.

The Nile The Egyptian civilization has developed and continues to exist owing to the Nile. It is the longest river in the world - 6671 kilometer from the source up to the mouth. The Nile is formed by merge of the White and Blue Nile in the territory of Sudan. The White Nile begins in Rwanda and the Blue Nile - in Ethiopia. The river eats rains which are dropping out on the plateau of East Africa and in Ethiopia. In the territory of Egypt the Nile has no inflows. The width of a valley is from 1 kilometer in the area of Aswan up to 25 kilometers in the area of Cairo. In the delta of the Nile there are two greater sleeves - East and Western. My cruise over the Nile has allowed examining it from Luxor up to Aswan (about 200 kilometers). Unforgettable impressions for me there will be dawns and sunsets above the Nile. You may watch my high resolution SLIDE Show Sunrise over the Nile on my personal WebShot page. You may see my 5 min VIDEO-clip Dawn over the Nile near Isna with Xenia Akeynikova "Dawn Over Moscow" music on my YouTube channel.
