What is it?

It is an easy way to keep informed by email about what is happening in the Prof. Rebecca Sanchez' class, DIVERSE POPULATIONS EDG 2701.

  Give me a description of the group.

EDG 2701is a mailing list for students of Professor Rebecca's Introduction to Education classes at Miami-Dade Community College. 

The list is for advisement, education, assignments, announcements, and is intended to provide students with an opportunity to ask questions and share information related to class topics

  What do I need?

You need two things:

A) to have an email address in yahoo.com

 

B) to subscribe to the group: 
to have an ID (mynameEDF1005) and a Password  ( mypetname mytagcar etc)

  How to be a member?

Once you have your account in Yahoo (ID and email with them) you can go to subscribe to the group >> http://groups.yahoo.com/group/edg2701rebecca

  How to get a free email address?

you can get it in www.hotmail.com  or www.yahoo.com 

  What is the ID?

it is the identification that yahoo will be used to log you in

  What is a password?

it is a code to access with you ID

  Steps to be a member of the e-group

1. get an email in yahoo.com

2. get an ID and password

3. go to the egroup and subscribe it with them

  Steps to check the post in the egroup

1. check your email account in yahoo.com

2. log in with your ID and Password

3. you can a) see the messages of the group's members, or b) you can post a message for the group

  Why do we use Yahoo groups?

It is FREE, easy to use, and because Yahoo is a solid company. Other free egroup services are not any more in the net.
